Summer

It's here, and sooner than ever (well, 'summer break' at least).

And the temperature's pretty nice... here's my list of things to do copy and pasted from Facebook... in the beginning didn't it work the other way around, where people would paste to Facebook?

Anyway, here it is.  Oh yeah, I programmed a facebook blocker if anyone needs it to study for finals.

Things to do:        8:45am Sunday, Apr 22 | Edit Note | Things to do:

Very Soon:
-'Hang out' with people before they all leave... even though I've never used the term hang out seriously before and might decide to never use it again.
-Fix the Y-E-P's website, and email, and whatever else I've been putting off.
-Go to banks and hope to get that $70,000 loan.

Shorter term:
1. Fix the Ford, whatever fluid it's leaking in massive amounts.
2. Get State Farm to look at the Ridgeline and make the body shop fix it right.
3. Give blood (I've been bad this year and put it off. Who wants to go with me?)
4. Clean my room.
5. Re-write the clock radio firmware to make the interface more intuitive.

Longer term:
1. FINISH setting up the clock manufacturing / retailing. 2 years already, it's ridiculous.
2. Buy a house. (seriously, if things really work out, I'd like to have one during school)

Really long term:
1. Have a family, and all that fun stuff.

My milkshake brings all the boys to the yard, and they're like, it's better than yours, and I'm like, it's better than yours.  I can teach you, but I'll have to charge.

Oh yeah, and I'm really past due for a hair cut today.

NC

Wow, I got a visit from North Carolina!  Kinda early in the year for that...

Then again, I probably won't get any over summer, so that's my one NC visitor for 2007.

It's interesting how an image search of 'nuclear plant' on MSN shows my Xanga on the first page of results.  I had a picture of a nuclear power plant (more of a diagram?) when I wrote about how the patent office first thought I was applying for a nuclear power plant patent.

With so may people going to the OBX each year, it must be kinda crowded.

I kinda like writing here

But everyone's on Facebook and I'd just be writing for myself, which is probably less fun than if people actually read it.

So how do we get people back?  The way facebook is layed out, with a note on a seperate page, and only one note at a time in a small screen area, it's not practical to write a lot on there.

And really, who's going to read what I have to say unless it's right there in the front page?

Clock update: getting a few manufacturers, one's replied, but went back to try to find a different factory that suits us better.  Surveys going out to see if people use the Radio wake up more, or the Buzzer / Beeper.  If most people wake up to Buzzer / Beeper, then we'd just omit the radio alltogether, and save a few bucks per unit (lower the cost to consumers, as well).

School: got a 15/20 on my physics 240 test.  I thought I did better but the week before would've been pretty happy with a 75% considering the median was 65%.  So I'm still happy about it.

I'm going to bleed the brakes on the Taurus... it's not braking straight ahead, I think there's air in the second channel (right front, left rear).  The Ridgeline brakes don't feel very good, either, and the rotors seem pitted.  But that's warranty work.    Lincoln should be started or something... it's been months.

Haven't been called a stalker yet this year, so that's definately a plus.  But it just feels busier this year with teamwork and things, and instruction leaves something to be desired in most classes.

I'm going to start with fixing the Taurus brakes and then calling Fischer Honda for an appointment.  Yeah.

Have a great weekend!

Happy Thanksgiving!

It's OK, Xanga, I still like you better than Facebook.

Unmotivated

I've been feeling pretty unmotivated lately (so much so that I almost typed 'feelin'' instead of feeling)...

NO one wants to manufacture Pattern Clock.  Sure it's not a goal in life, but it's the first thing that actually seems might work out, and it'll bring enough money for me to do / make things that I really want to do / make.  (alternative energy, car safety... that sounds about right)

And I really need a new car (or buy my parents a new car so I can get their new car, the truck), and maybe a house so I'm not freeloading.  (And perhaps invite people over to it??)

The Lincoln STILL has a flat after 2 weeks, the Taurus still has poor brakes and I never got around to replacing the leaky radiator.

But somehow it just feels like there's nothing to do.  I was going to finish physics homework today, but haven't even started.

I'll start by starting physics homework... at 1:34AM.  At least then I can just do the cars tomorrow and not keep feeling that I still have homework.

Xanga's way better for typing.

Yue

Edit: Way better for typing than Facebook.

Edit: Choices aren't fun when you have to make them.  The "Brave New World" world is pretty good, in some aspects.
